Found this jacket in the lovely store  Precinct Five.

Curves & Skinny Little Short Legs

I know it's far away but next period we have with House of Denim,
we are going to design a pair jeans.
So I was thinking what kind of jeans I want to design.

A pair of jeans that is low on the hips and has a skinny legs,
very skinny, fifty's skinny. And of course little short legs.

The combination of feminine curves & skinny leg's create lovely fit,
and works for girl who have a small waist but slightly wider hips.

I found a fabulous campaign form the brand Blanco

So get inspired and enjoy the fifty's theme!

Lecture History of Denim & Jeans

This moring we had a lecture about the history of denim & jeans by Lothar Schafer.

Did you know that

the first jeans for woman had buttons on the leftside

because buttons on the front were offensive?!

First day House of Denim

Today we started with House of Denim.

A project created by James Veenhoff,

the person behind Amsterdam International Fashion Week.

The idea behind this project is to create a school for denim.

Our class is selected to do the try out pilot.
